A little about us.

We’re Robert and James. We met while working together in the Air Force, and started HBIT to build websites and software for small businesses.

Between us, we bring 15 years of experience in technology.

Hey, I’m Robert! I’m an Air Force veteran, cybersecurity professional, and Co-founder/CEO of HBIT.

I’ve always had a passion for technology, whether that’s building computers, working on servers, experimenting with new software, or figuring out how things work. What started as a personal interest eventually turned into a career in IT and cybersecurity, where I’ve had the opportunity to work on systems supporting the Department of Defense.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and going to concerts with my wife, woodworking in my garage, playing guitar, and spending time with our three cats.

James and I met while serving together in the Air Force, and our shared interest in technology eventually led us to start HBIT. We wanted to take something we both enjoy and build a business of our own.

For me, HBIT is about getting to know the people we work with, understanding what they need, and building something we’re proud to put our names on.

Hey, I'm James! I'm an active-duty member of the United States Air Force, an IT and cybersecurity professional, and Co-Founder/CTO of HBIT.

I've always enjoyed the hands-on side of technology. Whether it's troubleshooting a stubborn issue, learning a new system, or finding a better way to do something, I like the challenge of figuring things out and making them work.

My experience in the Air Force has given me the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and develop an appreciation for doing things the right way. I try to bring that same mindset to everything we do at HBIT, from the smallest website update to building out an entirely new solution.

As CTO, I'm excited about the opportunity to explore new technologies, tackle interesting projects, and help businesses find solutions that actually make their lives easier.

One of my favorite things about starting HBIT with Robert is that we're building something of our own. We get to take the experience we've gained, put our ideas to work, and see what we can accomplish together.

Why we started HBIT

We wanted to build a business together and put our experience to work for other small businesses. That started with websites and has grown to include hosting, ongoing support, and business software.
